AVIO Logistics ("AVIO", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard your information when you visit aviologistics.com or use any of our shipping services.
1. Information we collect
1.1 Information you provide
When you request a quote, ship with us, contact support or create an account, we collect:
- Identity & contact data — name, email, phone, company, billing address.
- Shipment data — origin, destination, package dimensions & weight, declared value, contents description.
- Payment data — billing details processed through our PCI-compliant payment partners. AVIO never stores raw card numbers.
- Communication data — messages exchanged with our team via email, phone, WhatsApp or web chat.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Device & usage data — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referrer.
- Cookies & similar technologies — see Section 6.
2. How we use your information
- Provide and improve our shipping & rate-comparison services.
- Process payments and issue invoices.
- Communicate about your shipment, send tracking updates, respond to support requests.
- Comply with legal obligations, customs requirements and carrier policies.
- Prevent fraud and abuse.
- With your consent, send service updates and offers. You can opt out anytime.
3. Sharing your information
We share data only as required to deliver service:
- Carrier partners (FedEx, DHL, UPS, USPS and others) — receive sender, receiver and package data needed to fulfil your shipment.
- Customs authorities — receive declarations and goods descriptions as required by law.
- Service providers — payment processors, cloud hosting, analytics. All operate under strict confidentiality agreements.
- Legal compliance — when required by court order, subpoena or applicable law.
We do not sell your personal data.
4. Data retention
We retain shipment records for 7 years to comply with customs, tax and trade regulations. Account and contact data is kept while your account is active and for up to 36 months after closure. You can request deletion of non-mandatory data at any time.
5. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (EU, UK, California and others), you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request deletion of data (where legally permissible).
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw consent and unsubscribe from marketing communications.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

6. Cookies
We use essential cookies for site functionality (e.g. session, login), and optional analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to understand traffic. You can disable cookies in your browser settings — some features may not work without them.
7. Security
We protect your data with industry-standard safeguards: TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 at rest, role-based access controls and quarterly third-party security audits. No system is 100% secure, but we work hard to keep yours safe.
8. International transfers
AVIO operates globally. Your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States, the United Arab Emirates and other countries where our partners operate. Transfers from the EU/UK rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
9. Children
Our services are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced via email or a prominent notice on the site. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised policy.
